Learn the basics of paddle boarding in a private lesson
Arrive and head straight down the beach track from our HQ on Carlton Beach Rd. Swing open the boatshed doors and paddle Blue Lagoon Beach spotting marine life, Spectacle Island (Bird Sanctuary) and cruise along the sheltered shoreline soaking up the serenity! Lessons are also taken on the Carlton River depending on wind and tide.
Typically your first lesson starts by guiding you through the basics on the beach and setting you up for a paddle on your knees. Guiding you through paddling and maneuvering/steering typically is followed by an on-beach run-through on how to progress to standing and paddling.
